Free recycling of tech equipment is a SCAM
I called about recycling a TV. I was very specific about the brand, size, and store that I’d take it to. I was told that there would be no charge. I was charged $29.99. I used their chat customer service, but got the normal response-there’s nothing I can do about it, someone made a mistake. Their free recycling service is a SCAM.
