THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED AS THEY CLAIM!!! We hired SMTN on Nov. 6, 2025 to sell our MARRIOTT KAUAI timeshare and charged the $2,000 flat fee (NOT a commission and not subject to real estate laws!) to our VISA. Cancelled the listing ONE day later, because a friend whom we mentioned it to wanted to buy it from us. Requested a refund on Nov 7, emailing "Customer Care" (but they don't care) several times to ask when we can expect the refund - NEVER got an answer! SIX weeks later Dec 22 had still NOT received it! I had also emailed the initial representative 3 times (who responded promptly every time, claiming he'd pass my complaint on to his Director, but who apparently did NOTHING), and threatened to contact State Attorney General's Office. He promised again to remind his Director (who should be fired), and told me that this slacker would make sure we get the money by Dec 23. And that's what it took to finally get the refund!! I DO NOT recommend hiring SMTN, instead using one of the well-regarded, professional and trustworthy DIY platforms to sell the timeshare YOURSELF (it's easier than one might think, as I've done that before with RW!), or to someone you know and trust, like we did this time!
