Affordable but colors can be hit or miss
This is the second prescription contact lens order I’ve placed with Loladiva. In my honest opinion; while I do believe they make an effort to showcase the variety of colors and styles available, I think it would be much more helpful if they used less image editing and featured real people with a variety of natural eye colors, rather than primarily models with brown eyes. My natural eyes are hazel, more on the golden-brown/greenish side, so it can be difficult to gauge what a particular color will actually look like. When I shopped on Loladiva, I essentially had to pick the colors I liked and then hope for the best. Thankfully, the lenses aren’t expensive (on average $5.99 a pair), because I probably wouldn’t take the chance otherwise. Especially when some just end up getting thrown away. I’d say this is the main drawback. The colors online and on the models look great but not very true to what you receive in some cases. Of my two orders and six different lens colors, only two have been satisfactory for me. The others looked far too cosplay/theatrical in person and weren’t suitable for natural everyday wear. Ending on a positive note, I purchased clear prescription lenses this time, and they seem to work just as well as my other brand-name prescription lenses. If no more shades of colored lenses work out for me, I may just stick with ordering my clear prescription lenses since I know those will work for sure and at a very affordable price. Lastly, shipping tends to be a consistent 10 day delivery period. Not bad for what you’re paying.
