SEAGM

Clueless support

On Sunday I tried to buy a steam card on Seagm. I've done it a couple of times before and I've had no issues at all. I used Skrill to pay as per usual. The process failed on the last step just before showing me the confirmation screen but the money was still withdrawn from my bank account. I thought it was temporary so I tried again, but the same thing happened again. On Monday I contacted Seagm because my money was still not in my account and Seagm could only confirm that the payment had failed and told me to contact Skrill instead. I contacted Skrill on Tuesday and they told me that the money had been successfully transferred to Seagm via two transactions and they gave me the ID's for transactions to give to Seagm. Then I contacted Seagm again with the transaction ID's and they said that they couldn't see anything and that I had to contact my bank. So I contacted my bank and they said they couldn't roll back this kind of payment. On Wednesday I logged into Seagm to talk to the support again and I then see that the transaction is listed as successful. Cool. But I had payed for that item twice so I contacted the support and told the whole story again. The support technician informed me (after I had to repeat everything twice) to him/ her, that I had gotten reimbursed for the second payment in store credit. This is okey-ish I guess but it would've been cool if they've sent me a message explaining this so I wouldn't have to figure it out by myself. So my main issue here is that because of a simple, unknown, technical error in the payment process I was not only charged (when a transaction fails and you don't get the product, the money should preferably never be withdrawn or at least be sent back directly to your bank account) but I also feel like I had to argue with a customer support who was just randomly blaming other instances (first blaming Skrill and the blaming my Bank) and they were not able to give me any information about my case even though the money was with Seagm the whole time (as proven with the transaction ID's from Skrill).
