CRW Works CS4045 Road Disc Brake Wheelset
Overall, a good experience with this road wheelset, CRW Works CS4045 Road Disc Brake Wheelset. Communication with the seller was o.k.— decent responses and very helpful throughout the process. Shipping was really slow (overall end to end 9-10 weeks). The wheels arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. The build quality looks solid. The finish is clean, the wheels arrived true (after 25k KM they still are true with the correct tension), and the ceramic hubs spin smoothly. Overall weight 1190 grams. Installation on Colnago v3r-s was easy and they feel responsive during normal riding and acceleration. However, at higher speeds and in stronger crosswinds, the stability isn’t as good as I expected, and the weeks start vibrating, so handling can feel a bit less confident in those conditions. Because of that, I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5. Overall though, it’s still a very good wheelset for the price, and a noticeable upgrade from stock wheels.
