My experience with Compensair has…
My experience with Compensair has raised serious concerns regarding the consistency and transparency of their claim handling process. This case involved a booking for 3 passengers on the exact same flight. Compensation was approved for 2 passengers, yet for me — the actual booking owner — I was informed that the airline had allegedly refused the compensation claim. What makes this even more confusing is the contradictory status history shown in the case itself. The timeline initially showed that Compensair was already “working with the airline,” followed by “pre-legal stage,” including statements that a claim had supposedly been filed with a consumer protection authority and that legal action against the airline was being considered. However, another section of the same case later showed statuses such as “application received,” “application check,” and “claim submission,” as if the process had only just started. These inconsistencies make it extremely difficult to understand what is actually happening with the case and whether accurate information is being provided to customers at all. Despite multiple follow-ups, no proper explanation was provided regarding: * why 2 passengers from the same booking were approved while the booking owner was rejected; * why the case statuses appear contradictory; * or what the real stage of the claim currently is. Customers deserve transparency, accurate information, and consistent treatment — especially in legal compensation cases involving airlines. Formal complaints are being considered towards the Romanian consumer protection authority, the relevant European consumer protection institutions, as well as the authorities from the country where the company operates. — Olar Paul Alexandru, paulalexandruolar@gmail
