$15,000 Legal Coercion attempt and 27…

$15,000 Legal Coercion attempt and 27 days of appalling "support" I am reporting a severe case of consumer intimidation by DJI Europe. For 27 days, I have been trapped in a resolution process regarding a logistical failure by DJI in shipping dangerous goods (batteries) to Madeira. During this dispute, DJI attempted a shocking act of coercion: they demanded I sign a 'Commitment Letter' assuming a $15,000 USD financial liability for IATA shipping regulations—a responsibility that belongs solely to the shipper (DJI). Even after DJI finally delivered the batteries on Feb 19th, the intimidation attempt continued. On Feb 26th, agent George (Ref: s-rq974) admitted in writing that this $15,000 demand was a 'disproportionate mistake' and 'not fitting to a B2C setting'. Despite admitting to this legal trap and causing nearly a month of professional stress and logistical chaos, DJI refuses a fair settlement, offering a measly €60 store credit for a month of harassment. Formal complaints are now active with the European Consumer Centre (Case ECCPT-20702) and the Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC). DJI thinks they can bully customers with illegal documents and then settle with pocket change. Case #9822822. -------------------------- Update: Let’s be clear about the facts: I ordered two batteries worth 110€. They were delayed in Lisbon for 15 days due to logistics. The Portuguese Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) has already issued a formal report confirming that all documentation was 100% correct. Despite this, your 'solution' was to force me to sign a $15,000 USD 'gag order' (NDA) to keep me silent without even investigating if something was wrong with the delivery or not. Demanding a $15k penalty for a 110€ order—after an official authority proved I did nothing wrong—is illegal coercion and corporate bullying. I will not be intimidated into silence for a mistake that was yours. Transparency is not for sale. ---------------------------------- Update 15/03: DJI has now informed me that the agent previously handling my case (George) is 'resigning'. While they try to distance themselves from his actions, they continue to ignore the gravity of the $15,000 extortion attempt and the coercion I faced, offering a derisory €60 credit as a 'solution'. This is an insult. The case is now officially with the European Consumer Centre and ASAE. I am waiting for a formal settlement agreement from their Legal Department, which is finally CC'd in the emails.
