Very suspicious experience with VerifiedVIN. People contacted me pretending to be interested in the car I was selling, but their only goal seemed to be forcing sellers to buy a “Verified VIN” report from this website. They kept criticizing CarVertical and other services, claiming they were scams, while aggressively promoting their own platform. It honestly felt like a coordinated scam. They were clearly not interested in the vehicle itself and only wasted my time trying to push this service. The whole situation looked extremely shady, and I even wonder if they collect personal or vehicle data behind the scenes. I strongly recommend avoiding this platform for security reasons. Unfortunately, many fraudsters on used-car marketplaces appear to use this method to promote this website.
