Less sugar/sweeteners
You could succeed even more by not trying to disguise the earthy, musty, delicate taste with sugar. Leave that to the silly multinational food corporations. Your product deserves a better fate. As it is, the taste is reminiscent of what they call marmalade candies but it’s altogether to generic. That’s my take.
