It is very hard to get understood on the need on ALIBABA when you do not buy the product presented and they manufacture. Even if the supplier is announced as manufacturer. I spend a lot of time to source and discuss and finally drop the talk as this is not relevant. Suppliers consider our market like the one in China (with China population) but it is not the case our quantities are very often little after little and what we look for is ability to deliver regularly small quantities, flexibility. they want us to buy their product not the one we need. For example on a radio, (aviation band) I am looking for a radio with a frequency step of 8,33 they want me to take the old standard that is not anymore the standard for more than 5 years of 0.25Mhz. If I place a RFQ some answers but never precisely targeted to my need. A lost of time. Alibaba has to improve on controlling the pertinence of the answer and the time it take to set a deal.
