They confirmed my return and still WON'T refund me – TWO MONTHSs and counting
I saw them on TikTok and thought: cute! I ordered a coat and had to return it because it looked NOTHING like the pictures. I even had to pay the return shipping MYSELF! Then I waited – and waited. TWO MONTHS later, still NO refund. I contacted them THREE TIMES. They confirmed receiving my package (thank god I sent it with tracking) – but NO refund followed. So I opened a PayPal case. And here's where it gets interesting: Lacemade contacted me TWICE asking me to CLOSE my PayPal case, claiming they would only process my refund AFTER I closed it. ONCE A PAYPAL CASE IS CLOSED, YOU CANNOT REOPEN IT. They were essentially asking me to voluntarily give up my ONLY buyer protection. I refused. And surprise – STILL no refund, now blamed on alleged "technical issues" that apparently only disappear once I close my case. This is a deliberate attempt to make customers abandon their buyer protection. I have FULL DOCUMENTATION: tracking proof, email correspondence, and PayPal records. Do yourself a favour and do NOT order from Lacemade!! EDIT: PayPal case CLOSED (they refused help since item wasn't "damaged"). STILL NO REFUND! Emailed AGAIN – they promised refund within 24h (FOURTH empty promise now). ONE WEEK later: NOTHING! EU Consumer-Protection will be contacted :)
