Beware of the new pricing model
Ahrefs is a great backlink tool I've used for many years. It's great for analysing your competitors and exploring keywords. HOWEVER, they have recently changed their pricing model. Recently, I subscribed for a month as usual to use the tool. When this month was over I was charged an additional fee. Apparently, this was for all the extra reports I gathered. I was told they have put a new "pay as you go" model in place which charges you for every single button you press on the platform. I got no problem at all with this - but you should let people know that your pricing system has changed! Or at least put a warning on the platform for people when they are over their limits, so they know Personally, I feel it was very underhanded. I know I'm not the only one - because you'll see that there are a load of negative reviews on Trustpilot talking about this new pricing system. When I contacted Ahrefs, they said the changes were made clear in the Terms & Conditions. I'm sorry but customers don't read the T's & C's for every product they sign up to!!!! Haha. Especially for a product they have used for years before!!! When I needed a backlink tool I always subscribed to Ahrefs, in the future I'll explore other options first.
