DJI firmware update damages HW
DJI released a firmware update for the Mini 2 (plus other models) that damages/destroys the 5 ghz transmission capability. Out of warranty machines are not covered for this gross negligence. Sounds like a class action suit brewing. RC firmware 04.11.0400 aircraft firmware 01.07.0200 Can switch between frequencies but 5 doesn't seem to work. Region is Canada I have done that with online support. If I send it in, I will be charged and then have to pay for a repair caused by a firmware update. This issue has been reported by many users. DJI needs yo repair these units at no charge. The aircraft s/n is 3Q4CK3E3A3PJ63 Response to update 4. I will not send good money after bad. DJI broke the Mini 2 for many/all owners with a negligent firmware update. They won't fix their error. Why would anybody trust DJI? Response to 27 Nov: I submitted the requested info about 7 hours ago. Not sure why I am being prompted again? I am expecting an email with further instructions and a shipping label, as described in the previous email.
