Defective Creator 5 Printer

Defective Printer - NO Support May 27, 2026 Original review updated May 27, 2026 Just received a brand new Creator 5 printer from Flashforge. It errored on the first print. Tried again, same error. Tried a different model with different filaments, it errored again - same error!. Seems to error in the same place all the time with the same error message: "Extruder Mount MCU communication lost. Paused". Once it does this, it is essentially dead in the water. This has happened three times on every print I try Their tech support sent me a picture of the inside of the extruder and asked me to make sure the gear is aligned properly. This is a joke. I paid over $700 FOR THIS PRINTER AND IT IS 5 HOURS OLD, FAILING, AND THEY WANT ME TO TAKE IT APART. Pictures sent show it apart with no instructions on how to take it apart, what screws to remove, or anything else. They are truly a JOKE. Anyway, this is NOT HAPPENING!!! On the first two tries, it printed beautifully for 4-5 hours before the error and dying. On the third try, it errored after 1 hour. This printer has 4 print heads. On the first two tries, it errored with the SECOND print head engaged. On this last try, it errored with the FIRST print head engaged. ESSENTIALLY. NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT!!! Preferred solution: Send me a replacement by FEDEX Overnight User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY ANY FLASHFORGE PRODUCTS!!!
