I really like using Tax1099 but concerned...
I really like using Tax1099 but am a little leery now as the last 3 clients W-2s that I filed did NOT get to the IRS. I paid for Tax1099 to file them but ended up having to fax those to the Social Security Office myself. Last month a client called and told me their employee was told by the IRS that they would not send his refund as their W-2 had not been received. So I contacted the Social Security office and they looked up the EIN for that client and they said no W-2s were showing for that client. I checked the 2 clients following that one and they too had not been received by the Social Security Admin. I had received acknowledgement of all my other clients from Tax1099 - but those 3 I had not. I thought it was just taking time to get them. Unfortunately I paid for a service for 3 clients that I did not get.
