Really poor customer service
Really poor customer service. My order was confirmed quickly by SmallRig UK, & the goods shown on their website under my account. Then nothing, no update to shipping status for weeks. It became apparent that I was dealing with China, not a local office. When I did hear back there was an apology, but no update on shipping status. I worked out how to request a refund. It was accepted & I was told it has been processed. At the time of writing, still nothing. Apparently this isn’t a unique experience. Someone recommended trying Amazon UK. They had the items in stock, for less than my ‘special intro offer’. I received them the next day (I’m not even a Prime customer). The products are good, they’re let down by terrible service. UPDATE: I’ve just received my refund, far too stressful an experience. If I buy any SmallRig kit again, I’ll do so with a local retailer.
