SmithBook effectively improves my work by adding interesting and relevant details to my story. However, the problem occurs after I upload my manuscript, and SmithBook generates a book from my submission. There should be an option for the author to edit the book in real time without paying extra fees for making changes to the original manuscript.
Initially, I believed I was paying only for the book club and a book cover, neither of which I have completed. When I emailed them They stated I didn't sign up for the Book of the Month Club but two separate books. Here's what has happened so far: after entering my story into Smithbook, it produced a 290-page response that, while matching the form and concept of my story, contained a lot of interesting information that did not focus on my theme. I contacted the helpline, but the service isn't working; it doesn't use numbers like for Hue press 7 or Zee press 9. Instead, it asks you to spell your first and last names before transferring you to a person. Overall, communication with Smithbook is not user-friendly.
