I like the positive energy from the staff. My child had fun and made a few good friends. However, I'm hesitant to recommend PGC. It depends on where your child is mentally. My child's lack of confidence is their largest hurdle. The basketball skills PGC talks about are great, but their impact was minimal due to the confidence issues. With such a large number of kids, my child was able to slip into the background on several activities. I noticed, but it was often missed by the counselors. This was the case at multiple PGC camps. If your child is ready to put in the work and be a sponge to boost their game, PGC can be a big help. Otherwise, they'll likely have fun, but your money may be better spent in small group or individual specialist training. My case may be extreme, but the mental development at PGC didn't meet my expectations.
