Mixed service and suggestion
I fell in love with the Eden Wedding Set and knew that it was the ring it was the one for me! I first ordered a ring sizer as I wasn't sure what my current ring size is. About 2 weeks after I ordered I hadn't received the sizer, so I sent an email requesting an update on when I might expect it to ship out and learned that the order was somehow overlooked but was sent out that day. That was fine, a little disappointed and a little worrisome about future orders that an order could be overlooked. The representative was very apologetic and their reply read as sincere. I got the ring sizer a couple days later and ordered the wedding set. After a couple weeks I hadn't received any updates after the automatic order confirmation at the time of purchase. I sent an email to request an update of when my order might ship out and explained the issue with the previous order as I just wanted to make sure that this order was not overlooked as well. The response reiterated the timeframe stated on the website of 10-15 business days and what day it would be shipped by according to that timeframe. The response read as a generic, copy-paste kind of reply and did not really reassure me about the status of the order. It may be helpful to customers and the business to have a system to email customers with an automated message when the order has been started by the jeweler. I don't spend $2400 everyday and the anticipation/suspense left me feeling rather anxious.
