Good phones .... But avoid the pain
The Blackview brand came to my attention some time ago and since the I have purchased a number of phones. Essentially these are solid phones and have proven useful. However the following are real issues that one should consider carefully before purchasing. I hope the CEO of Blackview reads this . 1. The support department just keep spinning delay reasons for non delivery and delayed time of delivery 2. If your phone breaks don't except to get parts or support in Australia. Save the time and bin your phone ( in an environmentally sensitive manner) as the time you will waste is not worth the effort 3. Trying to get simple items like a sim cradle seems too difficult for the logistics department of Blackview 4. The chargers seem to be low quality and frankly dangerous, prone to over heating. Be interesting to know if the Telco governance regulators know about this. 5. My BV9800 decided to freeze every now and then for no apparent reason. Blackview needs to get their support and service organized so to become a real brand not just a disposal brand for a second phone. The company support needs to stop spinning Covid reasons for late delivery and ineffective logistics and the lack of access to support. In reality, whilst there exists this ambivalent attitude and extraordinary belligerence to their customers I suggest you best stay clear of the brand.
