What a let down
This is the second order I have placed with Moon Magic in the last 3 months. The first one was for a bracelet; I was disappointed with the stone's quality; it did not even come close to the vibrant colours shown on the website, but the wife was happy, so I decided to keep it. The second order was for a per of opal earnings; delivery from the US to the UK was quick. The package arrived in a poor state; the pink box looked like it had been lying on the floor for days, and somebody had played football with it. Then, onto the opal itself, 0 / 10 for the quality. It has to be some of the poorest quality opal I have ever seen or bought. Nothing like the picture at all, it was a gift for the wife after looking after me as I have just had surgery. Again, she loves them, so I'm going to keep them, but if I had not shown them to the wife, they would be going back. Then, onto the most significant issue: they boast 23,000 5* reviews on the website. I created a not-so-good review of the earnings and guess what? It was never posted. It seems they do a review of the posts, and unless it is positive and a high 4/5 star, it does not get posted on the site. This is a company I can no longer trust and want to do business with again.
