The phones are relatively rugged, I've had a few for that reason... Battery also not bad... buuuuut the screens are crap and unresponsive, and without fail every single one has started freezing and giving trouble after about a year. Might just be China spying on you in the background, or that it's programmed to give trouble after 12months - ala Samsung and Apple
The phone's are rugged, and generally reasonably durable (certainly more than the average smartphone). But the main issue is that the touch screens absolutely suck ****. I've had at least 5 different blackviews (mostly for the battery life), and without fail, the keyboard input is horrendous. It fails to register about 30% of the keys you press, and misreads the rest. So if you want a phone for messaging, don't get one of these.
