The newer model wows me!
It’s water proof, works fine, but some details around charging have some room for improvement. First there is no signal to which a battery is about to run out. Secondly, when charging, again, there is no signal for charging status. Nothing changes even after presumably fully charged. Usually I take it out of the plug when the body gets really hot (like, really hot). Not sure if it’s intended. [update 12 Feb] I got a chance to try out the newer model. I must admit that all my concerns above were resolved. On top of that, it is USB-C compatible which is a huge plus! Despite the higher price point, I’d recommend this model and yes, it’s a five star body shaver for me!
