Yunnan girls trip
The tour was well-planned, and we felt safe and well looked after the entire time. The drivers and guides were fantastic. A special shout-out to our driver, Ms. Liu (Dali to Shangri-La), for her steady driving and friendly nature. Our guides were all incredibly knowledgeable and flexible with the itinerary. Sophie was wonderful to work with from start to finish—so resourceful and helpful with every request—and our guide in Lijiang also took excellent care of us. Regarding hotels, we had a great stay overall. Thank you to the Kunming hotel team for listening to our feedback; after an initial noisy room with weak AC, they took care of us on our return stay with a quiet, cool room. The only downside was the Holiday Inn at Shangri-La. The extra bed provided was a creaky, foldable cot that caused a backache. Since all other hotels provided proper third beds, you might want to flag this for future guests, particularly older travelers. Thanks again for a great experience.
