Fantastic Teacher, Mixed Experience with the System
We’ve had a generally good experience with the online Russian language school, with a few areas that could be improved. The platform itself isn’t very intuitive at first and it takes some time to understand how everything works and where to find homework, and it always opens in Russian by default, which makes it harder for my partner to navigate it when using it with our child. The onboarding process also felt overly aggressive, with frequent calls, even during weekends. In addition, the lesson length can’t be adjusted: 50 minutes is quite long for a 7-year-old, and by the end our child is tired and less motivated to complete homework afterward. On the positive side, our teacher Victoria is fantastic: kind, engaging, and excellent at managing and motivating our child. The program itself is well-structured and serves as a valuable complement to a bilingual child’s Russian school curriculum.
