My check engine light came on today
My check engine light came on today, did the usual; went to an auto part store to get the little code reader test to see what code was coming up. Code 0012, on a 2019 Nissan Frontier. Was told to go to Brakes Plus for a diagnostic test. Tanner greeted me right away and checked a few things, added some oil; I was 4 quarts low, 🫨. Then discussed with me what my next move should be, didn’t try to up sale me; didn’t try to suggest unnecessary costly things. Just genuine honest suggestions. I will be doing a diagnostic, where he said he would give me a list of urgent to not urgent things I need to have done and go from there. Finally!!!!! A mechanic who isn’t out to bankrupt the customer. I will definitely be using his services for my truck and I will recommend him to anyone I can from now on.
