Highly recommended case prep program!
Edit: Received offers from LEK and Simon Kucher London! Managed to have R1/R2 interviews with most of the MBB/T2 firms, but withdrew from most after I got offers from LEK (my personal target firm). The GYM program by Francesco is a fantastic way to build your logical structures and craft your frameworks in a flexible manner. Even though I had relatively little casing experience prior to joining his classes, his classes fixed a lot of the underlying problems with my approach to cases and accelerated my learning enormously. If I were to list the benefits of joining the GYM program, it would be threefold: 1) Very specific feedback. Francesco provides a detailed 2-3 page grading rubric after each session and narrows down the specific area of improvement. I find this much more helpful as compared to advice you may receive during case practice (eg: work on communication, structure). 2) In-depth understanding. His methodology to teaching case frameworks is effective in the sense that he helps you understand how to structure and why it is structured that way. This really helps me understand how to change my framework flexibly to suit cases which I have not encountered before. 3) Quality case material. The case material Francesco has prepared stands out as excellent and comprehensive. While some of this information may be available online, his material concisely presents all these in an organised manner, while including his own personal insights into case interviews. Overall, I don't think any of the free case materials online holds a candle to what Francesco offers. Preparing for case interviews can honestly be quite a daunting task, considering how competitive it is and the uncertainty of whether you are practicing effectively or not. I felt that this program gave me the proper guidance I needed to shape my case interview skillset. I would wholeheartedly recommend this program to those who are committed to enter the consulting industry, but have trouble acing their case interviews.
