Awesome private tour!
This was our first time having a private tour arranged for 8 of us, so I was a little skeptical at how it would all work. But I found Asia Odyssey Travel online and Cecilia our agent was great. She was easy to work with and was able to come up with a great itinerary that fit the dates we wanted in Korea and Japan. The guides that they found for us were awesome! Song picked us up from the airport and taught us a few useful Korean words since this was our first time in the country. Jung was our tour guide in Seoul and she was so knowledgable and even gave us some great recommendations for lunch places at the Gwangjang Food Market. Kassy was our guide in Gyoengju & Busan. She told us many stories about the places we were going and made sure to hit all the great photo spots. Kevin was our guide from Osaka to Tokyo. As he was with us all the entire time we were in Japan, even on the Shinkansen, he made it so easy to travel from one place to another since he knew what to do. He was also great at changing the itinerary at the last minute to avoid the double typhoon that was hitting Japan while we were there. So although we weren't able to see Hakone and Mt Fuji, his alternative itinerary kept us safe and out of the rain and we all still had fun. This was such a great tour that we would definitely think about using Asia Odyssey Tours to arrange another tour for us. They all worked hard and earned this 5 star rating!
