If I ran my custom vehicle painting and upholstery business the way Gold Machine runs its platform, I would be shut down for deceptive practices. This company is actively running a systemic bait-and-switch operation and their customer service is entirely unprofessional. Over the past few weeks, my wife has received the exact same promotional offer 7 to 10 different times. The emails use high-pressure tactics, explicitly stating: "Due to overwhelming demand, we’ve unlocked a rare offer again" or pushing a "limited time Rare Offer." However, the moment she clicks the link and logs in to claim it, their system blocks her. When we reached out to their customer support, we were met with a revolving door of lies and contradictory excuses: Agent 1 (Vince) claimed the offer was blocked by an account-level "one-time purchase" limit. Agent 2 (Hailey) completely changed the story, claiming the offer was "first-come, first-served" and had simply sold out globally. Supervisor (Mark) finally stepped in, threw Hailey's story out the window, and admitted the marketing team had "revived" the offer, but claimed his hands were tied and he couldn't honor it. When a brand-new promotional email arrived during our chat, Vince contradicted his own supervisor, claiming an email sent at 3:06 PM had somehow "expired" by 4:30 PM. To make matters infinitely worse, when we cornered them on these blatant contradictions and asked for an explanation, Agent Vince maliciously closed our active chat session twice—once while his own supervisor was handling the ticket—just to silence us and run away from the conversation. They spam your inbox with targeted offers to get you to log in, refuse to honor the written promotions, and then retaliate against you when you call out their false advertising. We are taking all of our screenshots and filing a formal complaint with the Attorney General for Consumer Sales Practices Act violations.
