Dont buy Geekvape Aegis L200! Broke after one drop!
EDIT (same day)- As you can see GV replied to my review. I appreciate how quickly they replied & I got my answer about them selling parts. They also said if I sent video & other info it could be fixed but after reading reviews I doubt anything will be done. Especially with warranty since I dropped it. Im going to raise review 1 star for at least answering my questions. I got a Geekvape Aegis L200 kit as a gift last xmas. I was getting in the car & dropped it. I picked it up & the whole top, tank & all, was just hanging there by the silicone piece. So I checked things out. That small (IMO) of a drop shouldn't have had that much of a catastrophic outcome! Because of the plastic piece Geekvape used (should be metal) all 4 corners popped but all 4 screws still in the holes. I do understand that I dropped it though & thats on me totally. So I called vape shops & they dont sell just parts. So I contacted Geekvape to see if they could sell me that part. All I got was some generic message saying since I was the cause the warranty wouldn't apply to me. THATS NOT WHAT I ASKED! ALL I WANTED WAS A PLASTIC PART THAT I WOULD PURCHASE! So I just left the chat. After checking reviews this is a very common problem with L200 owners. I vape all day every day. I'm always doing something so I do drop my tanks. But both of my Smok T-privs took a beating & both still work! I dropped this Aegis L200 once & it's done! Now with that said, I loved this mod before this happened. It looked amazing! Easy to use, liked where the screen & button position were. For 2 battery it wasnt too bulky. The tank that came with the kit I love even more. Ya, the tank didn't bust when I dropped it! It works on my old T-priv. So save yourself some $$ and just buy the tank, buy a better mod that can withstand a single drop! It's just something that happens a lot with many vapers! Believe I will be returning to Smok or doing more research to find a mod that can handle me! The price tag for the L200 is not worth it!
