Villa Amalia Nightmare...
First I would like to say we only stayed 1 night out of the 10 that we booked because of the below: 1. The Villa was not clean. There was dirt in the corners of the walls. The refrigerator was not clean. The area near the washing machine was dirty and didn't work properly. 2. The place as advertised was supposed to be in a quiet neighborhood. Many dogs were left outside and were barking well past midnight. This made it hard to sleep as we couldn't close the doors and windows because of the heat and no air conditioning or fans. 3. There were people returning to their homes well past midnight and were making a lot of noise down on the street. 4. We didn't know before arriving that the owners lived above us. It didn't state this on booking.com. The owners came home late and were watching TV and it was really loud and another reason why we couldn’t sleep. They were moving chairs which was easily heard from below at night. 5. While we were out at the pool the owners were always looking over their balcony to see what we were doing. It felt like we were being constantly watched. I personally wouldn't recommend this to anyone that wants to have a good night's sleep.
