Real people get to vote on the products…
Real people get to vote on the products and whether they move up the chain or not. I've seen some really cool ideas/products come through with really reasonable prices attached. I was thrilled to vote those items up! Other times, I've seen items that were similar to items already on the market, or items that I didn't really think there was a big need for, and I was happy to give a no-vote, knowing my opinion matters. And sometimes I see a price that would definitely prevent someone like me from buying, so even if it's a novel idea, I don't vote up on it. It's just nice knowing my vote counts for something, and getting to see all these new products being invented.
