Disappointed by Luba Mini AWD – Great Hype, Poor Performance, and Unresponsive Support
My Experience: I was genuinely excited about the Luba Mini AWD. Its sleek design and bold advertising gave me high expectations — especially since my sister's 5-year-old robot mower (with much older tech) keeps her lawn perfectly groomed year-round. I set up the Luba on a very simple layout: three zones, with visible antenna coverage and paved tunnels connecting them. At first, things looked promising — the Luba worked as expected. Unfortunately, the problems started soon after: It stopped navigating through the tunnels (despite them being wide paved driveways). It left random uncut patches and ignored defined borders. It would pause indefinitely and run out of battery before finishing a job — requiring me to carry it back manually. Twice, it drove over the charging station and got stuck, suspended in the air. I reset and reconfigured everything multiple times, but the same issues kept recurring. I reached out to customer support, which was incredibly slow and disorganized. Each reply came from a new person, asking me to repeat basic steps or resend logs, pictures, or device info — with no continuity or progress. It became exhausting and frustrating. Ultimately, the mower was unusable, and I had to hire a gardener to maintain my lawn. When I asked to return the Luba under their money-back guarantee, they instead offered a set of replacement blades — which felt like an insult considering the circumstances. Final Verdict: The Luba Mini AWD looks impressive, but the technology feels unreliable, and the customer support is inefficient at best. I lost time, money, and trust in the product. Unless significant improvements are made — both to the product and to the support system — I cannot recommend this mower.
