I have used them for homeowners insurance. The price and policy were good. Much like others here have said. Customer service is non-existent after you purchase the policy. They don't return secure messages in the customer portal. You can't talk to anyone on the phone you can only leave a message that they never return. I did not renew my homeowner's policy as the rate went up WAY too much. I started a new policy with progressive. My mortgage company paid for both policies. So Policy genius got my $3,000 that I now own the Mortgage company. Yet Policy Genius will not give me my money back as you can't get in contact with anyone. Update Dec 2024. Policygenius contacted me 2 weeks later and refunded me my money.
