Resolution after 5 weeks
UPDATE: Banggood processed a partial refund quickly after I showed the product was also damaged due to incorrect factory packing method. The case took too long to resolve, but in the end a fair solution was reached. EDIT: I eventually received another tutorial video from Banggood, in which I saw that the product had been redesigned and assembled differently than in Banggood's official tutorial video for this model and the listed package contents (no maunual was provided with the product). With this new video, I was able to assemble the product successfully. However, this crucial information only reached me 5 weeks after my first complaint, despite my constant follow-ups. I understand this redesign is not Banggood’s fault. However, the support team should have figured this out much sooner. Instead, I was told again and again “it can still be assembled” without anyone actually explaining how — leaving me stuck for weeks believing parts were missing. Only the recently sent video clarified the situation. While I’m glad the product is now usable, the support process was unnecessarily long and frustrating. ORIGINAL: I had a terrible experience with Banggood. I received a faulty product with missing and incorrect parts, and despite providing clear evidence, neither the supplier nor Banggood took real responsibility. Customer service was unresponsive and dismissive. They promised timely updates and claimed my case was a "top priority," but I waited over a week with no response — and then my ticket was closed automatically without any resolution (we were chatting for 2 weeks and I was waiting for their promised response). Even after the seller admitted the error, Banggood did nothing to make things right. It felt like their main goal was to protect the supplier instead of helping the customer. Banggood failed on every level: product quality, accountability, and basic customer service. I won’t be ordering from them again.
