China only Interested in MOQ and Large Companies?
Further to visiting the China Expo in South Africa, my experience was positive overall/ I do however have to ask if it is possible that Made in China and China suppliers in general only want to deal with MOQ buyers? I found that most of the sellers in China from the smallest start-up, want to deal only with the large foreign companies? Lookinfg for prospective drop-shipping since especially in Africa, I believe there are many opportunities for small outlets to distribute to rural communities. But it seems China is not interested? I have tried to dropshop from Aliexpress to Alibaba and Made in China. My expectation was tp contact them and they confirm product, pricing, stock, delivery methods and payments options etc. Back to the China Houseware expo. Many agents and sellers could not understand english and there were too many interested buyers and at most stalls at the expo and too little assistance. The assistants were overwhelmed, Also many visitors especially on the first day expeced samples and freebies to be handed out, but it was almost as if one came a week too late... This was hosted by Gallagher Estate, the bathrooms were dirty and without any care. In the end, it was waste of much time and money for nothing to show in return.
