Purchased a Rangemaster fridge freezer…
Purchased a Rangemaster fridge freezer and just under 3 years it has failed ! It appears the compressor needs to be replaced but they cannot guarantee that replacing it will work ! This is a £3000 appliance that is not expected to fail after three years but even more disappointing is how Rangemaster respond via their aftersales department ie you got to pay because we only give a two year warranty ! Never mind that a quality appliance ( questionable !) fails after almost 3 years when most advise that a fridge freezer of this quality should be expected 10-12 years ! Very disappointed , actually very very peeved ! They’ll take your money and when it goes wrong they don’t want to know ! Avoid at all costs
