⭐☆☆☆☆ If you're considering buying directly from OneXPlayer, think very carefully about what happens if something goes wrong. My ONEXPLAYER Apex arrived with a damaged screen. I reported the damage within one hour of delivery, immediately after carefully unpacking the device. Despite this, I was told that because the outer shipping box wasn't damaged and their "standard quality control procedures" showed no issues, they would not replace the device. Throughout weeks of correspondence, OneXPlayer has repeatedly asked me to pay for the replacement screen on a brand-new device, despite never providing any evidence that I caused the damage after delivery. They have relied on general statements about their manufacturing and packaging processes rather than evidence relating to my specific device. To make matters worse, they repeatedly offered a paid repair without disclosing what the repair would actually cost. Only after I questioned this did I request a full quotation. In my view, consumers should be given complete information before being asked to accept such an offer. I had already purchased a screen protector and protective case before the device even arrived because I intended to protect it from the moment I opened the box. Instead, I couldn't even install them because the screen was already damaged. As an Australian consumer, I believe this response is inconsistent with the protections provided under the Australian Consumer Law, which requires goods to be supplied free from defects and gives consumers rights when those guarantees are not met. Rather than acknowledging those concerns, I have had to repeatedly defend myself and request evidence that has never been provided. The handheld itself looks fantastic, but customer service and warranty support are just as important as the hardware. Before spending thousands of dollars, make sure you understand how warranty claims are handled if your device arrives with a fault. I will gladly update this review if OneXPlayer resolves the matter fairly.
