Cute but not functional/lower quality than expected

I got 2 septum clickers for Christmas, both super cute. The first one had a straight bar instead of a curved one at the hinge, which I’m not used to, but after a little practice, I figured out how to put it in. Super cute, but I’ve worn it about 4 times and don’t think I can anymore because it makes my nose really sore! It may just be that the bar is shorter than the actual length of my septum, which isn’t the company’s fault, but still disappointing. So then with my second clicker, the first few times I wore it, I could NOT get it to close. I finally got it after pushing down super hard, and then of course, getting it unclicked for removal was really difficult (but I got it). A few days ago, I put this same ring back in, and have not been able to get it unclicked since, despite pulling a lot harder than I should have to. Not only that, but now for some reason, this jewelry is making my nose sore. It hurts to move it or try to take it out, and I’m gonna have to go to my piercer tomorrow to have them remove it for me. I’ve pretty much exclusively worn clicker jewelry and have never had such a problem with removal. My septum has also been pierced for about 6 years, so it’s fully healed and I haven’t experienced any pain or irritation after the healing period. I really wanted to like these rings—they look nice and seem well-made, but after this, I’m not sure I’ll be able to wear either of them again. :/
