I purchased a pair of 20 (FAKE)x50 Binoculars…

I purchased a pair of 20x50 binoculars recently. the number 20 qualifies the magnification strength - that is a universal standard of magnification reference. On delivery and then compared to my existing 10x50 binoculars and also compared to a friend's 12x50 binoculars it was clear that the magnification strength of the K&F supplied binoculars was in fact NOT 20x50 but 8x50 - the number 8 being the actual magnification strength and not 20 magnification as shown on both the supplied binoculars and the box the binoculars were packaged in. These supplied binoculars were FAKE. When I questioned K&F on these supplied FAKE binoculars they insisted they were in fact 20x50 binoculars and they followed by stating that "maybe different countries have different standards". An absolutely ridiculous and ludicrous statement to even think of offering as an explanation. These binoculars were revealed to be simply FAKE and falsely advertised and marked. FAKE is FAKE anywhere in the world. K&F then offered me a AUD$10 refund as compensation and only on my insistence increased that to AUD$15. I also came to realize that K&F are "masquerading" as an Australian based company but in reality are only based in China and any returns would have to be posted directly to China at my cost. I noted a similar comment by a UK based purchaser's review with a similar experience where K&F appeared to be a UK based company. Based on the 4 emails required to finally get this ridiculously irrelevant AUD$15 refund and the consumption of my time I would not deal with this company ever again and will be fully sharing my experience on this experience with any other person who may consider purchasing any item from these people. FAKE is FAKE and FALSE is FALSE globally.
