Useless without a thread router
I bought some of their lightbulbs to replace a wifi bulb I had. Much worse experience. Their bulb is frequently unresponsive, is very very laggy when it does respond and has many issues. This seems to be because they won’t use the wifi but require additional purchases of thread routers to make their overpriced lightbulb functional. Their decision to go thread only has created a terrible user experience, turns the product into an expensive paperweight and offers only potential benefits in the future maybe? It seems bizarre to me.
