I wish I had read the reviews before I booked a flight through Traveloka. in October 2024 I paid for a premium economy seat from Phuket to Melbourne. When I boarded the plane, I was told that no such seat existed on that plane, so I was placed in economy. That's when the fun began. I contacted Traveloka for a refund of the extra I had paid for the premium seat. They initially offered me a credit of $50 to spend with them (as if). They increased this to $ 100 credit (!) To cut a very long story short (in which we have exchanged 53 e-mails over ten months) we negotiated a settlement of $350, which was much less that the amount I had paid. DO NOT under any circumstances deal with this company. They are a disgrace to the travel industry.
