Avoid Blackview, bad products and dodgy behaviour.
Ordered a Blackview Tab 6. From the start, it had issues. Most notably spontaneously rebooting. Tablet was used as a small info display, showing a very simple app. Three other tablets doing the same thing work perfectly, so not a software issue. This one would just reboot at random during use. Returned, and Blackview acknowledged the fault. Then they told me they had run out and couldn't replace it (somehow conveniently forgetting to mentioning this two days before, when they had me return the product, at my expense). They refunded me for the product, but contrary to the very clear Australian Consumer Law, would not refund the return shipping costs. I complained to eBay and they gave me a voucher for the postage, but in all a very poor experience. Bad product, bad and illegal service, and deliberately trying to avoid their responsibility under the law. EDIT: after much arguing, pointing them at this review, and making a complaint to the ACCC, they did eventually refund the shipping. But I have no faith they will do so for others, and will continue to point at their illegal 'buyer must pay return postage' notice. If a product is faulty - it is the seller's legal responsibility to cover the shipping costs and it is high time that vendors lived up to their obligations.
