Driver didn’t pick me up at the airport…
Driver didn’t pick me up at the airport in Kolkata, had to take a local tax in the end. Driver had flight details, which was delayed, was informed that I was arriving from overseas so would need a way to connect to internet. Kolkata airport has no working Wi-Fi, nowhere to buy a SIM card, had to hotspot off some helpful Indians phone. Ring driver via WhatsApp…no response, what half an hour until 2am. Final take a chance with a local taxi, note also no ATM at the airport.
