The driver was in late
The driver was in late. I tried to call the support but nobody answered. Maybe because it was not the local sim card. After 10 minutes waiting a person from the reception called for me from his number and they said the driver is going to arrive in 5 minutes. He arrived after 10 minutes so that he was 20 minutes late and it was a drive to the airport and I had an airplane to catch. The driver didn't speak even one word English. As I understood the problem was that he couldn't find my hotel. When the driver arrived to the hotel, he couldn't find the way to go from the old town to a big street so we were going around and he was asking people for the road. One time he even left the car to check the road. After some time we came back to my hotel and the people from reception showed him the way. I managed to be in time at the airport but it was very stressful for me as I had an important flight to take. The driver seemed stressed and I think angry. I tried to ask him in English what time does it take till the airport, he didn't understand, stopped the car and replied something in Turkish which sounded pretty rude. Until now, the worst taxi drive of my life and I think if not the local people from the reception I am not sure I was going to be in time at the airport.
