Niu is the worst idea you can have in…
Niu is the worst idea you can have in your lifetime. Never working, practically a scam ! Super expensive when you have to replace something, even with a shop in town (Rome) they are totally incompetent and unable to help. Do not buy these scooters! After reading yout answer, if you really want to know the details of this NIGHTMARE : Niu NQI GTS, Italy, I don't know what VIN means, store in Rome (there is only one): they don't reply to email, nor to phone number (as the general assistance) and they are closed at 6pm saturday. After 4 years with several problems, the box for the double charging at home seems to have stopped working and is not fully charging. I bring the box and the charger to the shop and leave them there to find out what happened. They give me back the box and the charger telling me that the problem is the box; the scooter was not charged as they didn't even bother to check. They ask me 150 € for that, than 200€, when I tell them they told me 150€ they say "that is if you pay by cash", I go to the atm and pay by cash (I could bring the whatsapp conversation to the police), when I go there, they give me the box without the 2 cables. I ask why they are giving it to me without the cables and they tell me with cables is 80€ more. AS the previous time he told me the box was broken, I threw it away, of course with the cables attached (I didn't even know you could take them off). So I have to pay, go home and the problem is still the same, it charge only approx 40%. I bring all back and they now say the problem is the charger (showing some mysterious signs of misusage that were not there when I gave it to them), MAYBE the problem was the charger AND the box (who knows! They never checked!!!!!!!!!!!) and that a new charger costs 900€. But if I give back the box that I bought 2 days ago he can make me a discount.! A NIGHTMARE. HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND HORRIBLE PRODUCT.
