Jetpac Travel eSIM

Questions of Reliabily and Customer Service Knowledge !

Whilst travelling through south America I decided to buy an esim through this Jetpac. The esim worked OK and I recieved sms messages to say it was loaded and later to say I had used 50% of my data. Then after, I would recieve a message to say I had no data left - no warning before the event. However, on 2 occasions, I did not recieve a 50% used sms and twice nothing to say I had runnout of credit. So I contacted customer service and was told that they didn't understand why the sms messages were intermittent and i didnt get them all. They would follow it up. Then another customer service agent said the service did not provide sms - so I could not understand why I was getting sometimes the 50% used notificationon sms. They closed my complaint, and suggested I buy more credit on my esim - I declined. I replied that they need to offer a system that was tested and secure and the response was they were looking into it. I even sent screenshots of my sms notifications. However, upon to respond to the email, I realised the email address had changed and I was talking to Yolla support - obviously they are using a contracted support company who really don't understand all the systems that they are providing support to. My friend bought a physical sim here in Paraguay for $2 and paid $4 for 5 gig of data - lots of notifications at 25%, 50% and before he ran out of data - not after the event. I am relying on this service , as at times, the situations might be a bit unsafe. To lose the phone signal , then have to wander at times looking for Internet without notification is not the best thing to do. Not the best, and I believe they haven't tested their system properly or trained their customer support. Maybe travelling, in the popular tourists spots in the world with their esim is OK but not here in south America. I don't think, I have got what I paid for - it's a system still under testing and I'm helping them understand there flaws - they should be paying me for identifying the issues and causing me stress during my travels.
