False positive reporting process is inconvenient, slow and not transparent enough

Their false reporting webpage looks like it has been designed in the 90s and then never updated. They are requiring to submit files compressed using RAR format which is a proprietary format. ZIP format would be more appropriate because it is an open format and it is widely adopted by the whole world and every operating system. The company does not provide any timeframe for resolving the false positive submissions. I submitted a file 6 weeks ago and it has not been resolved. This behavior is detrimental to the reputation of open-source projects. When software that is safe is flagged as malicious, the responsible antivirus company should resolve this within a reasonable timeframe after being informed about the issue.

Produces false positives sometimes, but the process to report and resolve them is quick

The engine flags legitimate files as malicious sometimes (this area could use some improvement), but the false positive submission process is easy and the response is one of the quickest I have seen among different antivirus companies.
