I decided to cough up the money to buy one of the best light therapy boxes on the market because the dark and gloomy winter months in ohio consistently cause me severe depression. My psychiatrist typically adjusts my meds but it's not enough. I dread the winter fearing one year it might claim my life. After having a cheap SAD therapy light years ago that did nothing, I figured that if I was willing to spend money on frivolous purchases, I shouldn't complain about spending money to potentially help me not bottom out in the winter. I'm really impressed with the Northstar 10,000. It truly helps and for me, anything that actually helps me survive this time of year is worth gold.
