Horrible Firemaple purchase and customer service
I purchased a Firemaple combination package of a torch with two accessories. First what should have set off my SCAM radar was that Firemaple only has a 7 day return window. This is a clear sign of a company that is just there to steal your money. Upon receiving the torch, it didn't work. I requested to return the product for a refund. Firemaple refused to accept the return for refund or to provide me a refund. After providing video proof that the torch was defective and 22 emails (back and forth) later, Firemaple agreed to provide me a refund for the torch (1/3 my money) but not the two accessories that were purchase as a single line item with the torch. I didn't buy three separate items but one single package (which included the 2 accessories). Firemaple states on their website as follows: "Do I have to pay for shipping? a. If the return is caused by the consumer, such as you don't like the color of the product, you don't need the product anymore, etc., you should be responsible for the shipping cost. The exact cost should depend on the courier company you choose. b. If, due to our reasons, the goods received are damaged or not correct, the consumer is not required to bear the shipping fee for this reason. If the products are received damaged, which in my case is true, that they would pay for shipping. But as Firemaple says the two accessories are not damaged, they won't pay for the shipping or provide me with a refund. These two accessories were purchased as a single line item with the torch but they refuse to provide me a refund and refuse to provide me with a shipping label to ship it back for a refund. The shipping destination is in China and will cost $75.00 to ship back to pay for shipping on my own. The remaining amount I am due in terms of a refund is $40.00. Firemaple is a horrible company that will not refund you your money when they ship you a broken product. And if they do after 22 emails back and forth, its like pulling out your own teeth to receive a only 1/3 of when you paid. This company is a scam and the worst customer service experience I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I've lived in 5 different countries and never have had to deal with this. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I would stay clear for even considering Firemaple for anything.
